Job Introduction
 
As a DevOps Technical Analyst you will work in a technically focused delivery team supporting with the building of multi cloud architectures and technologies to be used on public and private cloud environments.  The ideal candidate is likely to have a technical mindset in a subject that is directly relevant to the IT Industry and Cloud Computing specifically.  The candidate will be working within delivery teams that delivers stable, reliable, fault-tolerant solutions to our clients.  As well as helping to expand and improve an automated and reliable build and delivery solution for our development teams.

As a predominately engineering role you will have proven skills implementing modern, scalable platform solutions using a range of new and emerging technologies from developed and deployed with DevOps & Public Cloud tooling.

What you will do

• Be a Technical Analyst using DevOps tools to build public and private cloud platform and infrastructure elements 
• Support the building of solutions to agreed best practice 
• Implement solutions for customers consistently and with quality, using our methodologies and processes 
• Work as part of a team defining, designing and implementing solutions for our customers
• Act as a support SME for DevOps engineering efforts within a delivery team
• Attend customer and project meetings to present solutions from a technical and implementation approach 
• Highlight any technical risks that may impact the success of the solution for our client 

What we’re looking for

• Work with customers to understand and document their specific requirements
• Assist with the development and design of customer solutions
• Integrate solutions into the wider Cloud / DevOps suite of products
• Support the implementation and enablement of cloud technologies (Azure or AWS), deploy cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Support with the planning, costing and scheduling the delivery of Cloud services
• Interpret design documentation and specifications defined and delivered by specialist members of the team, such as a business analyst, senior engineers, consultants, or technology architects
• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, and reports to present back to the team
• Project issue management by using problem solving skills and taking appropriate actions to manage and correct the issue, should any arise
• Be a key point of contact for all participants in the project as well as sharing any relevant communications
• Support pre-sales activities such as customer advisory / development workshops
• Certifications in Gitlab, Terraform and Vault would be preferable
