Pricing Systems Manager - 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Purpose
Lead operational excellence by ensuring accurate price interfacing from our (30+) customer facing commercial agreements into our internal business management systems (SAP / Vistex and SalesPlanner).
Ownership of our local TPM (Trade Promotions Management) Solution as super user, providing 1st level support where applicable, managing escalation and resolutions with solution provider where required. The role requires operational excellence and diligence to enable billing and accrual accuracy, driving operational efficiency improvement through robust systems integrity.
Holding CHUK (Consumer Health UK) accountable for compliance to its Commercial Policy, with a key role in quarterly reviews and adherence auditing.
Major Tasks
Translation and full ownership of customer commercial pricing agreements into SAP / Vistex structured pricing records
Weekly reconciliation of SAP / Vistex invoice pricing records into SalesPlanner (TPM system) with early alert process in place to alert the commercial organisation to discrepancies as they arise
Manage a robust invoice price audit process, complicit with CHUK Commercial Policy, to be audited quarterly
Accountable for all systems execution (SAP / Vistex, SalesPlanner) of new pricing and cost price increase process, working closely with the local sales community and shared service centre to execute excellently
Supporting the accounts handlers with consistent, understandable and scalable excel based tools as they migrate to the new structured pricing framework, balancing consistency with the ability to bespoke
Delivering regular training to maintain and upskill Sales Team so that they can understand and be accountable for the accuracy of their customer s pricing g) Govern the structured pricing agreements, with NRM (Net Revenue Management) Lead and Sales Director to hold sales team to account through quarterly scoring and reporting
Support the CHUK finance function in monthly reconciliation of the SAP / Vistex and SalesPlanner interfaces, from Trade List Price to Net Sales
Provide system training to new starters within CHUK for the TPM solution (SalesPlanner), being a subject matter expert in this space
Ownership, prioritisation and management of the SalesPlanner query ticketing system, being our first point of contact. Escalating issues where necessary through appropriate support structure and managing communication of the impact of any issues with key system stakeholders and users.
Build a (Bayer) Global network of similar roles to keep abreast of other in-market development, learning from and sharing best practice where required and inform future UK requirements and enhancements
Work closely with product supply to ensure consistency, accuracy and timeliness in data relating to NPD (New Product Development) and SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) changes for our customers
Lead our PIECE pricing project scope and timing to be defined, moving our current billing processes into a single way of operating to drive operational excellence across the organisation
Monthly refreshing of key commercial reports (Sales Call / Pulse P&L Snapshots / In Market Pricing Tracker).
Lead best-practice usage of SalesPlanner, using knowledge of the system capabilities to drive improvements of the business monthly/annual cycles and reporting. Own and deliver system upgrades and improvements where possible to unlock business benefit.

Fluency in written and spoken English
Strong attention to detail

Advanced command of computer skills required, especially in data cubes, MS Office, Excel / PowerPoint and SAPVistex
Working knowledge of power pivot and experience of working with a database, commercial forecasting tools would be ideal but not essential
Self-Starter / problem solver (looks to think their way through a problem rather than waiting to be asked/told)
Solution focused (when faced with issues, important to be transparent about it but come with a plan to make it right)
Desire/willingness to learn (lots of new systems/reports/processes, it is crucial to be keen to become an expert. Will be looked to for advice from commercial team)
Drive for simplicity (producing new tools and processes for the commercial team to follow, really important to consider end users and make it as simple as possible
