[Tax Manager - Central - Permanent/Full Time]

In this exciting and pivotal new role, you will be the go-to expert on employment tax and global mobility at The Bicester Collection, turning tax challenges into opportunities. Support the overall tax function, engaging in a mix of compliance and consulting roles in line with your expectations for personal growth. You will play a crucial role in shaping and guiding the tax strategy and compliance of The Bicester Collection. You will offer expert advice, manage complex processes, and ensure adherence to international tax regulations. Your work will have a significant impact on the company's global operations, offering you a challenging and rewarding career path.

What you will be doing

• Support a wide range of tax related issues with a primary focus on employment and global mobility tax.
• Define future employment tax and global mobility strategies and guidelines, ensuring a standardized approach across all geographies and functions.
• Providing governance and policy guidance on critical tax matters, including corporate criminal offense, senior accounting officer, IR35, and conduct internal risk reviews and health checks.
• Analysing current processes to identify new opportunities and update policies and procedures.
• Manage the tax aspects of internationally mobile employees, ensuring compliance with social security, personal and corporate tax, labour, and immigration laws.
• Take charge of related reporting and compliance activities, including Short Term Business Visitor, P11D, and Employment Related Securities.
• Advise on the effective management and scope of external advisors, ensuring cost-effective utilization of their services.

• Big 4 manager/senior manager or mid-level inhouse advisor with 4-8 years PQE.
• Minimum ATT.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel (Oracle experience would be an advantage).
• Sensitivity in building and sustaining relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration at all levels of the business.
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting experiencing significant growth.
• Efficient in supporting multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously, often against tight deadlines.
• Comfortable with delving into the details and nuances of complex tasks.
• Willingness / flexibility to travel across Europe as necessary (10%).
