· Adheres to Dana Life Safety Rules, (LSR’s) and Dana Life Quality Rules, (LQR’s)
· Championing and supporting all program launches in plant for plant quality
· Compiling all lessons learnt from similar projects / product and ensured reviewed and implemented into new projects – where involved feeding the data into the AQE or APQP Engineer. Process and data must be documented. With full evidence supporting the reviews.
· At SG3 supporting the program team and AQE to review Customer Specific Requirements.
· At SG4/5 responsible to document and review all quality related Customer Specific Requirements and ensure addressed throughout the launch
· Significant Characteristics, ensuring they are controlled and reviewed regularly as per safe launch during the plant builds, feeding data back into program team and AQE
· Responsible for safe launch at plant level (as per procedure), monitoring and feeding back progress and status to the AQE, program manager and plant managers
· Supports all on-site customer visits and audits during APQP, once PSW approved then leads all visits.
· Ensures adherence to Control plan and work instructions on the line.
· All measurement equipment is calibrated
· All MSA completed
· Adherence to all inspection and testing requirements
· Provides quality coaching and support where needed to the operations team.
· Facilities and where needed champions in process problem solving activities.
· Works as per of multifunctional team to resolve issues as per Dana processes.
· Customer key contact for all issues and/or non-conformities regarding product created online they are responsible for.
· Ensuring follow Dana external customer problem solving process
· Maintaining Dana portals/software with up to date status
· Maintaining Customer portals where applicable.
· Supports monitoring of FTT and Scrap for the responsible line and any continuous activities that are generated from this.
• Knowledge of automotive standard IATF 16949 (second party auditor preferred)
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality. Automotive business is preferred
• Minimum 5-7 years exposure of industrial manufacturing processes. Automotive business is preferred
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing process and all standard automotive quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, Control Plan).
• Knowledge of failure modes analysis (what failed and why).
• Strong 8D discipline and problem-solving methodology (basic RED X knowledge preferred)
