This role works closely with the business to develop, plan and deliver solution focused people change programmes and initiatives that supports the overall business ambitions; delivering change in a brilliant way with our colleagues and customers at the heart of what we design and deliver
Location – London or any EE Hub
What you’ll be doing
- Leading the team and having the responsibility for the recommended solutions that enable EE to create the best environment for colleagues. This will require the co-ordination and prioritization of all people change programmes, across EE and BT, to maximise the value of every programme- commercially, and as measured through KPIs held by HR and EE leadership teams, and the eyes of our colleagues.
- You will lead on significant strategic CFU and Group activities with senior stakeholders, enjoying complexity and using depth of knowledge to ensure the context, need and purpose for EE colleagues is represented.
- You’ll shape and lead the methodology of research that needs to be undertaken and identify key external networks that enable better understanding and progress. You’ll work with senior stakeholders across the total Group defining and designing change.
- You’ll form, mobilise, and lead diverse and inclusive teams to deliver transformation projects that impact strategic business issues.
- Outcomes will have material commercial impact on in-year People KPIs and will be reflected in HR and EE scorecard. All outcomes should also be clearly linked to the overarching purpose of the team- to create a brilliant environment in which every colleague can gain the best experience possible in EE.
- Effectively partners with stakeholders that will typically be Director or MD level spanning the entire business; leveraging the expertise of all to deliver the most effective solution.
- Provides excellent HR consultancy to deliver the best outcomes for the business by applying external best practice and expertise.
- Accountable for partnering with the business to hand over the implementation of business activities in accordance with appropriate legislative requirements, to enhance and enable EE to thrive now and in the future
What we would like to see on your CV
- Ability to design, plan and deliver people change initiatives in areas such as organisation design, organisation effectiveness, and people effectiveness.
- Story-telling with data: strong skills in building the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences
- Proven ability to influence up to Director level and to build key relationships with appropriate business partners and stakeholders.
- Able to identify issues, get to root causes through the use of business analysis and insight to create effective solutions
- Proven ability in making things happen – translate solutions into delivery of practical and workable plans that delivers sustainable change
- Able to deal with ambiguity, in complex, fast paced matrix organisations, identify resources to implement and determine pragmatic solutions
- Ability to quickly establish credibility and respect and build strong working relationships.
- Significant knowledge and broad experience in HR and/or change management, covering a breadth of activities and best in class practices and policies ideally from an HR generalist or change management role. (Essential)
