Why this job matters

We are transforming our portfolio to deliver 5G, Cloud and IP products and solutions for our customers, which is a critical component of BT’s digital transformation and simplification. We have started migrating all our customers to these new products and will retire BT Business’s legacy portfolio fully by 2025. This migration is the largest, and most important customer focused change in our market, for us and our customers in the last 15 years. To meet the product, network and exchange closure timescales we need to accelerate BT Business’s customer migrations. This requires an experienced and diligent Professional Services team to assist our customers to identify their estates and the best replacement products and assist them to migrate on to an all IP based portfolio

What you’ll be doing

• Accountable for delivering customer facing and internal facing projects that will have a high degree of visibility both internally and externally
• Accountable for building complex delivery & analysis documentation for internal and external stakeholders
• Accountable for setting / agreeing a significant delivery budget and ensuring that costs do not exceed this
• Manages project risk for BT and customers in accordance with the risk profile and governance needs
• Accountable for customer satisfaction associated with delivery

Essential Skills

• Highly developed project management skills with experience of delivering solutions to Enterprise customers
• Able to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders to collaborate and carry out the functions of the role
• Ability to work with complete independence / autonomy and demonstrate initiative
• Able to identify risks and issues and offer mitigations to both internal and external stakeholders
• Great attention to detail and willingness to work within a fast paced and demanding environment

What we'd like to see on your CV

• An advanced knowledge of the delivery process of legacy products such as WLR, ISDN and Broadband such as ADSL and FTTC.
• Experience as a Project Manager, delivering complex solutions
• Experience of delivering a broad range of IT and network technology
• Experience of managing significant risk
