What is the job about?
As part of the performance unit “Domestic Building Services” we are developing and maintaining the different pump products for private homes, and we have the responsibility for the full value chain of our products. We are already today generating a substantial part of the turnover in Grundfos, and we have a wish to grow this even more by being able to support our customers even better.
The motors are highly integrated into our pumps and are essential for achieving our standards for high-performance quality pumps that are a cornerstone of the sustainability agenda of Grundfos. The motors are “wet runners” e.g. the rotating part and sliding bearings run in the pumped water giving a system with almost no limit in lifetime and special for our ALPHA and MAGNA pumps.
“Your biggest challenge will probably be to technically lead the design solutions that meet both our high aspirations of product efficiency, cost, and quality,” Jørgen says.
You will have a central role in the motor and hydraulic development team to ensure the right design decisions are taken as well as guiding less experienced engineers.
