The role

As the Airside Operations Duty Manager, you will lead the Airfield Operations shift team to exceed customer expectations, comply with MAG processes to CAA and EASA requirements, and put safety at the heart of all we do. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Managing staff and resources efficiently and effectively to ensure compliance with airside safety standards
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to provide a safe operational environment for aircraft, colleagues and passengers
• Promoting an airside safety culture through inspection, audits processes and investigation of airside incidents
• Management of environmental compliance regimes 
• Acting on behalf of the Airport, CAA or Court officials as the authority to detail aircraft on safety and regulatory grounds
• Day to day leadership of a frontline team
• Incident management

What will make you successful in the role?

To succeed in this role, you will posses the following:

• Working knowledge of airside operations
• Significant operational team leadership experience
• The ability to remain focused during periods of high activity
• Experience working within a transforming environment 
• Clear and concise communication skills
• A valid Runway Manoeuvring Permit
• Full UK driving license 
• Experience operating LGV or HGV
