As our business is growing, and our passenger numbers are increasing, we are seeking pro-active, focused and motivated individuals to join our Hold Baggage Screening Team. Duties will include but are not limited to;
Analysing x-ray images and possible threats using approved equipment at various locations across the airport site
Following the Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) operating protocol/procedures including performing daily/weekly testing of all HBS x-ray equipment in accordance with CAA and Service Delivery Standards
Remaining alert and vigilant to activity on the airport and periphery to ensure risks are minimised through prompt action and reporting to Team Leaders
Carry out security functions as part of the wider MAG network
No prior security experience is required as we pride ourselves in offering full training, however you do need to be able to;
Communicate directly and clearly to both colleagues and passengers
Be prepared to work flexibly & effectively
Have excellent written skills
Be able to work both individually and with other members of the team
Be successful in carrying out multitasking duties
Have colour perfect vision
Occasionally carry out duties in confined and/or difficult to reach spaces
Have resided continually in the UK for the last 3 years to be able to obtain Counter Terrorism Clearance.
