The role:
In this unique role, you will join a professional and supportive team to support MAG in maintaining its environmental and social ‘licence to operate’. You’ll have an amazing opportunity to help shape future development and growth at our airports making a real difference to our colleagues and local communities.
You will support with data collection and reporting of a range of topics, predominantly relating to noise and air quality. Using this data, you’ll then monitor trends and provide new and innovative solutions to improve performance and support our local communities understanding of noise and environmental impacts at our airports. You will also support our community engagement activities by producing promotional materials and ensuring the business stays informed about developments and opportunities relating to social and environmental issues.
This role is paired with the Level 4 Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability Practitioner Apprenticeship, supporting your development to act as a social conscience for MAG and allowing you to gain a nationally recognised qualification.
What will make you successful in the role?
We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and ready to take on a new challenge. You will have a sound understanding of corporate social responsibility and sustainability either through formal education, previous employment, or person interest. You will be able to demonstrate your ability to engage and communicate effectively as this role will require you to work with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Please note: You will need to be at least 18 years old, have the legal right to work in the UK and have a GCSE in Mathematics and English Language (grade A*-C or 9-4) to qualify for apprenticeship funding. We will evaluate any applicants who do not have these qualifications but have relevant workplace experience.
