The Vetting Manager will lead a team of colleagues including Senior Vetting Co-ordinators, within our in-house vetting operation based at Manchester Airport. You will motivate and lead the team to deliver on all key deliverables in a compliant, timely and cost effective manner providing a world class customer service operation. You will understand current and future vetting requirements and be accountable for delivering new starters to regulatory standards ensuring the needs of the MAG are met and deadlines are achieved. To ensure this, you will manage the performance and delivery of a team of vetting professionals to ensure excellent customer service is delivered alongside agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will work with our Compliance team to continue to build best in class practice whilst building collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across all Group Functions and Airports as we embark on an exciting journey of transformation across MAG.
You will have demonstrable experience of managing a Vetting or HR team (ideally with knowledge of vetting procedures, legislation and their application), in a work allocation or workflow operation. You will be able to illustrate service or process improvements in a transactional team, alongside day to day delivery in a fast paced environment. An excellent team leader, with strong communication and collaborative skills with an eye for accuracy and quality of work.
