The Role
As a key member of the Technology Delivery Projects Team you’ll be responsible for delivering projects/work packages across our 3 airports at Manchester, London Stansted, and East Midlands, in response to business needs. However, we currently have an immediate opportunity for a Project Manager based at London Stansted Airport. There will be an expectation that you will be flexible across Strategic Change Projects, Airport Asset Projects and Technology Projects from inception to closure.. You’ll support the delivery of projects to agreed schedule, commercial and quality constraints, by effective planning, tracking, and reporting of projects and budgets. You’ll mitigate risk and resolve issues to ensure successful delivery of projects and programmes.
What will make you successful in this role?
You’ll have experience of working to, or certification in, PRINCE2 and/or APM and an understanding of technology infrastructure platforms and architecture gained within an airport or transformation environment. You’ll have previously delivered IT application software enabled projects and have experience of financial planning and management as well as the ability to communicate clearly and with impact at all levels of the organisation. You’ll also have the ability to manage/prioritise multiple demands for project delivery.
