About the Role

Are you interested in working on 3 different brands covering both market leaders and challenger brands in the dynamic and exciting sports nutrition, sports fashion and weight management categories?

 

This is a unique opportunity to work on 2 of our latest account wins: the globally recognisable sports fashion brand poised to rival the likes of Nike and Adidas, Under Armour; and Glanbia, the parent company to the globally leading sports nutrition brand, Optimum Nutrition, as well a leading player in the UK weight management category, SlimFast. We are adding to existing client teams, both of which played a key role in the pitch wins and have years of experience working with one another. You will join as part of this highly motivated and capable team to help them deliver all the great work they promised in the pitches, to the new clients.

 

As part of this, we are looking for a dynamic Senior Client Account Executive to join us working across client account management and comms planning. The role will be fast paced and agile, and you will be instrumental in how this team functions.

 

To add to that, you will be as comfortable servicing clients as rolling your sleeves up and jumping into responding to a client media briefing, helping to generate comms planning responses across both the Under Armour and Glanbia brands.

 

Integration with the wider client and specialist teams will be fundamental to ensure all campaigns deliver to client objectives and are planned, implemented and reported upon. These elements are paramount in ensuring we deliver great work to our clients and the high standards of the agency are upheld.

You will support the day-to-day running of this account and will be surrounded by a full team: both accounts will be led by a Business Director with Account Directors, Account Managers and an Account Exec. Additionally, there will be Planning Director support on client responses.

 

About you

  • This role requires a proactive, self-starter with some prior experience of working within account / client servicing and paid media channels – ideally 1-2 years.
  • The ideal candidate will be looking for a role that gives them ownership of projects, and scope to push to the next level.
  • You will be competent in working with and supporting the Account Manager and Account Directors to successfully manage the client and their requirements.
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of campaign responses and day to day management of client requests.
  • Good understanding of media marketplace including media owner landscape, who owns what etc.
  • Good knowledge of all media channels and how they work and complement each other.
  • Good working knowledge of key systems including DDS, Ad Intel, TGI, Touchpoints, Mediatel, and be able to interpret competitor and audience research into clear and actionable insights / reports.
  • You will have had some client-facing experience and will be used to working collaboratively with both internal media specialists and external creative agencies.
  • You will be able to assist across campaign planning, helping to deliver audience and category insights that will feed into our overall responses.
  • You will be confident on MS Office esp. PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Be able to understand and take responsibility for managing day to day finances on individual clients liaising with finance teams.
  • Be able to keep a cohesive and up to date timeline to track all outstanding tasks (e.g., PO tracker, Tags tracker etc).
  • Without question your attention to detail is sound, and you are a conscientious worker, who is as confident in front of clients as the wider agency.
  • Ultimately this role needs someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and who strives to deliver best in class work.
