About the role

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join us as a Reporting Analyst. If you're passionate about data analysis, thrive in a collaborative environment, and excel at managing reporting requests, then this role is for you. As a Reporting Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in creating, scheduling, and maintaining all customer reporting requests. With your expertise in complex SQL queries and data manipulation, you will support our internal customers who have direct access to our worldwide clientele. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams on various projects to enhance our services and support our growing customer base

Key responsibilities

• Data Management: Utilize our in-house tool to upload data and execute data purges according to client specifications. Proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis is essential.
• GDPR Compliance: Manage GDPR requests by querying the database using client identifiers and performing extraction or deletion as necessary.
• Production Support: Provide daily support for travel data processes, leveraging technical and business knowledge across multiple applications.
• Reporting Administration: Administer our self-service reporting environment, including analyzing and improving reporting functionality and data loading processes.
• Collaboration: Work closely with both internal and external clients to analyze new requests, troubleshoot reported issues, and develop or modify reports as needed.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation outlining existing processes and proposed changes, including design specifications and data flow diagrams.
• Operations Management: Oversee daily operations to ensure timely and accurate completion of all processes.
• Technology Enhancement: Assist in implementing new internal processes and technology enhancements using tools such as Power BI.

About you

•Proficiency in SQL strongly desired: Demonstrated understanding and ability to write efficient SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis. Comfortable with complex joins, subqueries, and aggregations.
•Ability to extract actionable insights from datasets using SQL queries. Candidates should possess basic analytical skills to interpret data and generate meaningful reports.
•Continuous Learning: Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies in the field of database management and data analytics.
•Strong written & oral communication skills 
•Task management and ability to effectively manage multiple high priority projects. 
•Strong ability to work across departmental teams.  
•WebFOCUS development experience with parameterized reports, scheduled reports and ad-hoc reporting is desired.
