Project Overview
The Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP) has safely destroyed 2,613 tons of mustard agent in mortar rounds and artillery projectiles stored at the U.S. Army Pueblo Chemical Depot (PCD) approximately 25 miles from Pueblo, Colorado. Neutralization followed by biotreatment was the technology selected by the Department of Defense to destroy the Pueblo chemical weapons stockpile. The completion of this mission has made the world a safer and cleaner place by revolutionizing a first-of-a kind process for chemical weapons destruction. PCAPP completed the operations and munition destruction phase as of June 2023 and has now entered the closure phase.
All employees are subject and agree to random drug and alcohol testing as a condition of employment. Must be physically fit and able to work safely at an operating plant. Eligible applicants must be a US Citizen and successfully go through a government screening process.
Position Summary
The Pueblo Chemical Agent-Destruction Pilot Plant (PCAPP) is looking for a Quality Control (QC) Inspector at the Pueblo, CO location. This position will report to the Quality Control Supervisor at the PCAPP project. The QC Inspector performs quality control activities in a technical and administrative capacity. The QC Inspector will have the ability to obtain qualifications and certifications to identify and monitor performance of witness and hold points and inspections, maintains a positive and professional work relationship with Plant Staff and other Project Personnel, and supports the Quality Control Supervisor.
This is a short-term assignment, and this position will operate on a DuPont rotating day and night shift based working schedule (12 hours per day). This position may require temporary adjustments to work schedule to cover project needs and additional overtime hours as deemed necessary.

This PCAPP position falls under the scope of the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act of 1965 (SCA). The SCA requires PCAPP to provide employees with benefits and wages no less than the amounts the Department of Labor has established for the location and classification in which the employee will be working.
This position is designated as a safety-sensitive position and is subject to the requirements of the PCAPP Medical Safety Reporting Program. A safety-sensitive position refers to a job role where the employee's performance could significantly impact the safety and well-being of themselves, others, or the environment.
