A vacancy has arisen within our Earth Moving After Sales department based in Wigan for a Parts Administrator. The role contributes to the success of the Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd Earth Moving Technical division by ensuring effective procurement of machine parts. Consistently delivering effective administrative, customer service and interpersonal skills, the job holder will play a key role in supporting the team’s objectives in line vision of the business whilst working within the Company’s key result areas; Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, Leadership.
• Effectively operates the technical systems to identify spare parts.
• Processes all customer and service requests and orders.
• Raises sales orders, work orders, purchase requests and invoices both internally and to customers.
• Processes all non-account customer orders via online banking payments and confirming payment before any parts are dispatched.
• Owns customer invoices issues in relation to parts and liaise with customers finding a resolve.
• Enters new parts details onto the system to provide information and pricing to enable effective ordering.
• Assists with the inputting of parts details and invoicing in our internal systems at your depot and supporting the Region when required.
• Monitor courier deliveries
• To pack parts and organise delivery via our external suppliers.
• Receives stock orders into warehouse, operating forklift equipment when required.
• Return of service exchange components and warranty parts to either the factory or Head Office.
• Communicates regularly to the respective team members any issues concerning parts procurement.
• Works as a member of the team assisting and supporting department colleagues as well as other departments if required.
• Assists in establishing communication to customers in respect of any issues or delays in parts requirements.
The successful candidate will require the following:
• With experience in the construction plant or transport distribution industry is able to identify skills applied in either parts, warranty or service departments
• Able to demonstrate ability to work effectively with customers in a pressurised environment
