Initially the Senior Systems Engineer will be leading the acceptance of Chemical Laboratories and their transition into service. You will be gathering evidence to support acceptance and signing off the System Requirements whilst providing a safe and certified environment for users.
Once this is completed, there will be a transition to other investment projects: Lead the through-life technical delivery and systems engineering activity for projects or work packages developments that underpin Test, Trials, Training and Evaluation (T3E) activity.
The role:
You will largely work on projects that draw on existing technical expertise, whilst broadening systems engineering competencies and personal leadership skill sets. As Senior Systems Engineer, there is scope to develop either deeper Subject Matter Expertise, System or Platform specialism and or Technical leadership and Systems skills.
You will work in conjunction with a project manager and lead multi-disciplinary teams on projects with support of broader technical community. The Senior Systems Engineer will contribute to development of best practice and growth of capability around you, mentoring and learning from others.
