The University of Cincinnati James L. Winkle College of Pharmacy houses distinguished faculty, committed students, dedicated staff and pioneering researchers driven to enhance medications and their impact on health outcomes. Under the supervision of the Business Officer, the Financial Administrator 2 will perform the daily business functions of the Winkle College of Pharmacy, including but not limited to fund reporting, invoicing, requisitioning and asset tracking, purchasing and reimbursements. This will be a hybrid position with some remote working days permitted in alignment with College policies.
-Perform, coordinate, and monitor fiscal administrative duties in conjunction with other university offices and financial systems
-Assist in the development of unit policies and procedures
-Monitor the financial status of programs and individual discretionary accounts to report out monthly
-Comprehend and enforce the University’s financial policies and apply these policies to various financial transactions and offer guidance to leadership.
-Serve as delegate for Business Officer to review and approval of purchases, reimbursement requests, contract, and other daily functions requiring Business Officer approval
-Bachelor’s Degree must be in accounting or related work.
-Six (6) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Two (2) years of finance or accounting experience.
• Detail oriented and organized
• Strong analytical skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Experience with Microsoft office (Power BI and Excel).
• Experience with SAP.
• Higher Ed Experience
