As Warehouse Operative you will safely, effectively, and efficiently carry out all aspects of day-to-day work related to warehouse activities, ultimately playing an integral part to deliver goods to our customs achieving overall customer satisfaction.

Shift pattern, any 5 shifts from 6 (Mon-Sat), AM/PM/NTS, with required occasional Flexibility across 3-shifts, with prior notice.

Your Tasks

• To comply with health and safety policies and procedures at all times whilst carrying out the non-exhaustive list of tasks below, most of which involve the use of provided MHE;
• Operating of MHE with the highest standards of safety and care
• Safely and securely offloading inbound goods from HGV, ensuring highest standards of quality
• Accurate booking in of inbound deliveries on SAP system, raising discrepancies to the stock and inventory team.
• Picking and checking of products ensuring quality and accuracy standards are achieved prior to dispatch 
• Loading pre prepared and checked goods for dispatch onto HGV 
• Remain flexible in approach to work undertaken, supporting Shift Leader on tasks where operationally required to do so.
• Advocate for efficiency projects, supporting initiatives to drive operational improvements, including but not limited to, cost, time, safety, productivity, quality and engagement.
• Make Recommendations to aid efficiency and add value
• Handle Hazardous materials in an appropriate manner
• Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency

Your Profile

• Strong understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace 
• Background in general warehousing duties
• Valid MHE License (VNA, Reach or both)
• Experience working in a continuous improvement environment
• Strong communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Team player
• Target focused
• Organized
• Knowledge of current warehouse systems, including SAP
