National Account Manager at Beiersdorf

At Beiersdorf UK, we invest time into developing our own leading skin care brands – Nivea, Eucerin, and Elastoplast – to ensure we continue to provide our customers with the products they need to live a happier, fuller life.

 

As the National Account Manager you will have accountability for key brand portfolios, be required to develop and drive strategic plans that ensure all sales and profit targets are met whilst delivering value to both the customer and Beiersdorf.

 

The role requires you to achieve company objectives through building strong working relationships with our trading partners, maximising distribution and the effective management and analysis of promotions.


This is a Fixed Term Contract up to 12 months 

 

Your Tasks

 

  • Develop an annual, medium and long-term plan that ensures the delivery of brand, category and customer objectives/targets.
  • Responsible for managing the customer portfolio through distribution, promotions and presence at point of sale in order to be competitive and achieve market share objectives.
  • Manage and control the sales mix of the Brands Portfolio agreed at a customer level to ensure the agreed targets in market share, sales and margins and customer contribution.
  • Plan and implement the customer promotion plan which is in line with the objectives within the promotional strategy and guidelines provided by the Planning & Promotions team.
  • Monitor the delivery against the agreed objectives within the annual customer plan for product distribution and display at the POS working in conjunction with the Category Manager and POS Manager.
  • Maximise the accessibility of Beiersdorf products to the Shopper.
     

Your Profile

 

  • You will be an experienced Account/Customer Manager motivated by customer partnerships and growth, ideally you will have gained your experience within a consumer driven role. 
  • FMCG or retail experience.
  • You are motivated by success and keen to evolve your accounts through promoting our brands and building trusted and long-lasting relationships. 
  • You will have experience managing a P&L and be a confident communicator and self-starter with a collaborative approach to your work.
