Precision Marketing Manager at Beiersdorf

The role is to support the business with technical marketing expertise and consultancy in our most important growth pillars and drive digital transformation.  We help shape the strategy, identify new opportunities and ultimately unlock growth.

 

Data driven marketing is at the heart of our future success plans.  We are seeking someone to push our capabilities to the next level from segmentation to strategies, to defining customer journeys, to technology, to creative execution.  We need someone to spearhead our Precision Marketing efforts.

 

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract


 

Your Tasks

 

  • You will partner with digital, brand teams and peers from other Centre of Excellence markets across Europe as well as world class platforms and agencies.  
  • You will have a passion to grow the discipline for years to come as well as deep curiosity to interrogate the data and use it to inform our real time and future decisions.
  • Drive the vision for precision marketing – create plans and deliver digital world class precision marketing campaigns ensuring that the UK is a centre of excellence for Europe.
  • Build our data and analytical capabilities – Translate data into strong digital media and precision marketing roadmap.  Own our segmentation strategies, building deep expertise of data and its usage across channels including lookalikes, custom audiences, audience exclusions.
  • Agency and stakeholder Management – Define and manage agency relationships, representing local voice in regional agency set up.  Work with Head of Digital, Marketing, Media Managers and agencies to ensure optimized learnings, testing frameworks, budget allocation and deployment.
  • Growth Marketing – improving our full funnel measurement of campaigns and working in agile teams to consistently improve optimize.  
  •  Day to Day management and reporting – management of our precision marketing roadmap, channel testing methodology and attribution modelling to optimize results.  You will own the reporting and learning recommendations alongside our specialist agencies and will share these across wider teams and European organization.
  • Customer Journey design – customer first thinking – Understand customer journeys for a purchase process and design consistent digital journeys across all digital touchpoints. 
  • Measurement & Insight – Measurement and insight understanding of channel contribution to sales (ROI).  Day to day use of our tech stack of tools like Google analytics and PowerBI, to ensure high quality data model, learnings and insight generation.  You will use these to improve current and future campaigns and deliver results within an agile, iterative, data focused culture.
  • Internal expert for Precision Marketing Technology and implementation – Education and upskill teams ono precision marketing strategy and tools.  You will be leading voice in the whole of the Beiersdorf for improving our company capabilities.
     

Your Profile

 

  • You will have extensive experience in Digital Marketing / Digital Media ‘/ Growth Marketing.  Strong strategic thinker with the ability to translate complicated process into clear actionable roadmaps and steps.
  • Clear understanding of digital landscape including key platforms, and ability to build actionable audiences into media plans.
  • Expertise of ad/web/email reporting and analytical platforms, such as Google AdWords, Facebook, Google Analytics, Amazon AMC etc)
  • A good understanding of bidding strategies and targeting capabilities of the different paid media channels.
     

 

Salary depends on experience, annual bonus (subject to conditions), car allowance, 25 days holiday, defined contribution Pension, private medical, discounts on products, buy & sell holidays.
