Receives and records payments for services rendered at Lexington Medical Center and affiliates: is responsible for balancing daily receipts and preparing bank deposits. Works closely within department to assist and assure accuracy of receipts and adjustments.
•Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
•Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Years of experience in related field or in billing/follow-up role regarding hospital & physician billing
•Substitutable Education & Experience: None
•Required Certifications/Licensure: None
•Required Training: Personal computer (PC) experience to include spreadsheets, word processing, etc.; Minimum typing of 40 wpm; Knowledge of insurance EOB's and Medicare procedural knowledge.
