A Day in The Life of a Production Operative
As a production operative, you will work within a team in the factory to ensure the efficient production of our products. Your key requirements include:
Set up and oversee the production lines in accordance with requirements.
Be responsible for carefully and efficiently packing a variety of cheese products for distribution.
Effectively maintain accurate data records and paperwork, control of production CCP’s (Critical Control Points)
Monitor the production line to ensure products are of the best quality standards.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Maintain your workstation in line with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Ensure that any issues that arise are promptly and accurately reported to the Zone Leader.
Personal qualities and experience:
You will ideally be a people person as you will be working closely in a team.
Reliability, punctuality, and consistency are essential to enable you to work effectively as a team member.
A willingness to learn, share knowledge and develop.
Adaptability and flexibility as you may be required to work in different areas of the factory, as well as perform other reasonable tasks.
A willingness to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Good verbal, written and numerical skills.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential as the role will involve running machinery and equipment.
