About the role

Utilise your payroll experience and play an essential role in ensuring the delivery of timely, accurate, and efficient payroll services for Bridgestone Australia Ltd. Australia and New Zealand and its subsidiary companies. 

We are seeking an experienced and motivated payroll specialist to join our payroll team, supporting the Payroll Supervisor, at our Eastwood office on a permanent part-time basis (3 days per week, Monday to Wednesday).

The role will include:

  • End-to-end payroll processing, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and company policies.
  • Supporting reporting requirements and conducting audits.
  • Administration to ensure system integrity.
  • Providing excellent customer service, upholding company standards and ensuring advise is in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the Bridgestone Vision and sustainability initiatives, complying with HSE requirements and demonstrating TRACE behaviours.

About you

With payroll knowledge and experience gained in a large, complex commercial environment, this role will suit someone with sound analytical and organisational skills.

You will present with a high level of focus on customer service and have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

To be considered for this role, you will also need to display the following:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to conduct payroll reporting and end-of-month reconciliations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software (e.g. SAP)
  • Strong problem-solving ability and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Personal alignment with Bridgestone's TRACE behaviours (Transparency, Respect, Accountability, Collaboration, Embrace Change).
