Contract Type: Permanent 

Location: London      

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

This is an exciting opportunity for a brand specialist to own the strategy for our portfolio of brands in support of our company Purpose and Strategy. You will provide brand strategy leadership and campaign activations for our portfolio of brands across the Group including Royal London Asset Management, and Royal London Ireland, our other portfolio brands.

You will be part of a wider Brand and Impact team that supports the delivery of our Group Purpose by developing and delivering brand, social impact, and sponsorship strategies that drive a positive impact towards our 3 purpose outcomes 1) helping build financial resilience 2) moving fairly to a sustainable world 3) strengthening the mutual choice for customers.

About the role

 

  • Own the Royal London Group brand portfolio strategy, including clear decision trees for own brands, sub-brands, standalone brands, and parent brand endorsements. 
  • Develop deep relationships with key stakeholders in each of our portfolio brands to embed Group portfolio strategy, brand strategy, guidelines, sponsorship, social impact, and purpose outcomes to ensure our portfolio brands grow their brand health and equity in the Royal London Group brand.
  • Represent Brand on any mergers/acquisitions or brand disposals involving brand and trademarks.
  • Actively monitor portfolio brand health, ensure tracking is in place and make active changes and budget decisions to strengthen them.
  • Understand the different audiences and insights, in particular asset management, to be able to develop strategies and campaigns to support their audiences and objectives.

 

About you

 

  • Passionate about brands and building strong portfolio businesses.
  • Positive team player with a ‘can do’ attitude. 
  • Strong experience in brand portfolio, strategy, and campaign management.
  • Experience in asset management with a deep understanding of the audiences.
  • Stakeholder management and presentation experience to C-suite level.
  • Proven track record in project management.
