Job Title: Proposition Product Owner

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

As a Product Owner, you will have responsibility for implementing a key initiative to support our customers and advisers.

You will lead a team to deliver an end-to-end, customer centric insight solution by, defining a clear vision, strategy and roadmap that aligns to our Royal London ambitions to enable personalisation and multi-channel engagement.

About the role

• Lead the creation of the team vision and drives the focus of this throughout the team environment.
• Accountable for decisions made with regards to appropriate changes based on insight and market intelligence.
• Leader in technical excellence in areas of responsibility, by maintaining a deep understanding in these areas which will support prioritisation and decision making.
• Provides leadership to peers and wider team by collaborating with others to deliver the right outcomes for the business, customer, and squad.
• A role model within the community and team environment while consistently demonstrating RL values and behaviours.
• Responsible for risk and cost management, demonstrating a strong understanding of the governance processes within the environment.

About you

• Motivated with excellent attention to detail which drives a passion for delivering value to customers, advisers, and employers.
• Experience working with insight to build an efficient proposition around target audience needs and bringing creativity to solutions.
• Track record of using behavioural data to identify patterns and characteristics of customers, to offer up the next best action.
• Innovative in your approach to designing solutions and the ability to influence the design of the proposition.
• Commercially astute with strong expertise in relevant products, processes, and markets, maintaining up to date knowledge, with a strong understanding of competitors’ propositions and strategies.
• Excellent communicator who adopts a collaborative and commercial approach to work well with others, by building effective networks and influencing across all relevant business areas (e.g. GCS, GTC, Legal) and peers.
