Job Title: Digital Consultant

Contract Type: 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Location: Edinburgh, Alderley Edge, or London    

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

About the role

 

As a Digital Consultant you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders on varied and exciting initiatives. You’ll have the chance to get involved in multiple campaigns, experiments, optimisation, and helping to enhance our processes.

 

This is a delivery focused role, and the Digital Estate team is currently compromised of 3 Senior Digital Consultants, 2 Digital Consultants, and 2 Digital Assistants.

About the role

 

  • Configuring and publishing content within a CMS, keeping the sites updated and consistent with our UX toolkit.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product owners and developers to deliver innovative digital solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Support the requirements of marketing colleagues and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Analyse data and share insights to help inform our strategy and roadmap.
  • Undertake key quality assurance activities to ensure our websites deliver high-quality user experiences and content in line with our standards and guidelines.

 

About you

 

  • Strong experience with content management systems, in particularly in Optimizely / EPiServer and Umbraco.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders and project teams.
  • Willing to learn, grow and develop.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and excellent self-organisation.
  • Drive to work in a fast paced and agile working environment, with a focus on optimising workflow and achieving goals.
  • Manage commitments transparently in as efficient and effective a way as possible and actively seek opportunities to improve ways of working.
  • Good working knowledge of web analytics, SEO, keyword research, on-page optimisation and link building best practices.
