Location: 1065 Plains Rd E, Burlington, ON L7T 4K1

Pay Rate: $21/H

Training rate: $19.00 for 4 hours

What does a Security Guard in Burlington do?

• Facilitate access to restricted areas for authorized persons 

• Patrol the site on foot 

• Monitor closed-circuit cameras  

• Customer service, loss prevention, emergency response, receipt checking, patrols, high visibility, assist retail store operations with security needs as required.

• Coordinate response to incidents  

• Respond to telephone calls received by the security department

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Burlington

• A valid security guard license and first aid card 

• Minimum one year of security expereince

• Excellent customer service skills are a must.

• Previous loss prevention experience preferred.

• Law and Security or similar post-secondary education is an asset.

• Have a clear criminal background 

• Be eligible to work in Canada
