GardaWorld is currently seeking full time security guards that have the ability to work overnights. This position requires the guard to be onsite but outdoors in their own vehicle, to be visible and actively providing security services for our clients. This role requires someone who understands the need for close observation, staying active and alert and will be able to handle situations as they occur. 

There are two positions we are looking to fill - Applicants must be able to work one of the following schedules; no partial schedules will be considered.

1. Days: Saturdays and Sundays 0645-1845

2. Nights: Friday 1845-0645, Saturday 1845-0645, Sunday 1845-0200

What does a Security Guard in Peterborough do?

• Manage access as well as access cards through the computer system 

• Camera surveillance of access gates and parking barriers 

• Greet customers and register visitors as needed 

• Act as a first responder in the event of a crisis or emergency  

Qualifications to become a Security Guard in Peterborough

• A valid security guard license and first aid card 

• Available to work flexible hours 

• Have a clear criminal background 

• Be eligible to work in Canada
