Develop, implement, and maintain environmental and Health and Safety strategy and processes.
Define, implement, and maintain emergency preparedness and business continuity processes and protocols.
Ensure all UK buildings and facilities are maintained in a safe and effective manner and that all grounds are suitably maintained to a premium standard.
Manage building leases and documentation and ensure that buildings are utilised and occupied accordingly.
Effectively manage all utilities and services for UK buildings and provide reporting of all statutory requirements such as Legionella, energy consumption and building emissions etc.
Ensure buildings meet Health and Safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation, along with having responsibility for wider Health & Safety policy adherence.
Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and identify areas for improvement.
Effectively manage the team who provide the supporting functions to this role.
WHAT YOU BRING ALONG
Qualified in facilities management through the British Institute of Facilities Management or equivalent.
NEBOSH diploma or equivalent in Occupational Health and Safety.
NEBOSH or equivalent Environmental Management.
Previous experience in a senior facilities/H&S management role.
Budgeting and management skills at senior level.
Excellent team management and successful stakeholder collaboration skills.
Decisive decision making with strong collaborative team leadership skills.
Have led strategic change along with creating and implementing innovative ideas.
