Working within our forward-thinking Waste Customer Network Operations department, you have the chance to join the team as a Proactive Risk Reduction Manager where you’ll predominantly work closely with internal and external stakeholders to help improve Severn Trent’s resilience and response on the areas of our Strategic Network which carry the largest risk to our ODI performance (our performance measures).
You’ll be involved in the end to end engineering solutions process, from concept to delivery in line with industry design specifications and customer SLA’s, which aim to reduce ODI performance risk and improving customer experience. These include gravity and pressurised main laying & repair work. Plus other ancillary tasks such as air valves, flow meter, tank bases, SUDs etc.
As our Proactive Risk Reduction Manager you will be tasked with working closely with our capital delivery team to keep a constant program of work for our growing team of 32 civils gangs, whilst building and justifying business cases and providing evidence which then helps obtain the funding needed to deliver engineering solutions.
Finally, you will use your management skills to deliver key pieces of high risk critical work and to help support all stakeholders around you such as, Emergency Working groups (LRF’s), contractors, technical experts to other departments within Severn Trent.
