We’re looking for a Pump Workshop Technician to work out of our Finham, Coventry workshop within our Pump Service Centre. The Pump Service Centres provide a replacement and repair service for Submersible Electric Centrifugal Pumps amongst others. You’ll be responsible for assessing, repairing, and replacing electric submersible pumps and others. You’ll also work safely as part of a team and carry out site work where required.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Your responsibilities as a Pump Workshop Technician will be:
You’ll be based at our workshop in Finham, Coventry working 37 hours a week, Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Due to the nature of the role, we’re looking for people who have experience in the fault diagnosis and repair of rotating electrical and mechanical equipment. You must have mechanical training, such as an NVQ in Manufacturing Engineering or Maintenance and a driving licence.
Electrical knowledge and qualifications would be a bonus.
Good knowledge of pumps and the pump supply chain market would be beneficial too but we can teach you this in the role.
A forklift licence would be useful but we can put you through training to achieve this along with overhead crane, welding and hot work training.
Aside from the technical experience, communication skills and ability to work with others is key in this role.
