Over the next five years and beyond, we will deliver against a range of ambitious commitments in climate change, biodiversity, land management and resources and social value. In the role of Sustainability Analyst, you will play an essential role in a central sustainability team and be Severn Trent’s expert in sustainability reporting, ensuring that the data collected for our annual Sustainability Report is available, robust and assured, along with completion of our ESG indices and supporting with analysis to inform business decisions. You will also play a key role in the evolving maturity of our approach to social value and the data that underpins it. You will operate in a culture that is supportive and puts the environment and people at the top of its agenda. Responsibilities of the role will evolve in order to meet the needs of the business and to reflect the fast-moving sustainability landscape.
Are you someone with a strong analytical/numerical skillset, along with report writing and oral presentation skills. Are you someone with a good understanding of sustainability challenges and ESG issues?

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To be considered for this role, we are looking for experience in sustainability reporting and non-financial data. Analysing and translating complex data into insight and then to improvement opportunities would be required. Building relationships, gaining credibility and ongoing stakeholder management at all levels would be advantageous.
