We currently have an opportunity available for a Data Analyst based in Shelton (Shrewsbury, SY3) on a 12 month FTC.

 

This is a key role that covers end to end data management relative to service channels and customer treatments across the value chain/lifecycle with a strong understanding of customer experience measures.

The role holder will be seen as an enabler to delivering best outcomes for Severn Trent and its customers, owning data build, production, and delivery to support varied and multi-levels of complex processes, both existing and new, as the team evolves in terms of thinking and capability.

Multitasking is a key strength as you will be expected to support the short, medium- and long-term objectives of the Data Delivery function focussing on best in class data solutions together with maintain and improve Operational performance through delivery of data solutions into the Retail business – Voice and Non-Voice customer touch points.

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

 

If you have experience in exceptional data and problem-solving skills with knowledge in database interrogation then you are exactly what we’re looking for.

 

Capabilities:

 

  • Sound knowledge of a large-scale data driven business, with a strong appreciation of the customer quality, their experience, metering, billing, cash collections and management of debt risk and exposure. 
  • You must have experience in programming language such as SQL.
  • Experience in Microsoft standard applications, specifically Advanced Excel (use of formulas, Pivot tables), PowerPoint (presentation of findings) and Power BI (creation of dashboards).
  • Develop and own supporting documentation for relevant processes, whether new or existing
  • An ability to convert business requests into data solutions.
  • Proven to be a clear and effective communicator translating complex into simple where required.
  • Effective listening skills to understand the requirements of the business supporting and offering directional input where appropriate.
