EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We’re looking for someone to join our team on a 12-month contract as our Events Manager. This bespoke role will work across Severn Trent (and externally) to create an over-arching ‘events experience’. We’re looking for a creative and logistics superstar, who can both develop our internal events strategy and get hands on when it comes to coordination and delivery. As a business, we’ve got loads of exciting things on the horizon and we need an inspiring and engaging events strategy that supports our ambitious goals.
Working with senior stakeholders and our communication team, it will be your job to deliver and developing an exciting programme of events from in-person touchpoints to virtual gatherings, that deliver against our agreed milestones and engage multiple targeted audiences. In addition, you’ll bring your extensive knowledge and expertise when it comes to sharing best practice and coming up with new and innovative events and campaigns.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

We’ll be looking for you to be experienced in developing and delivering against an ambitious strategy, have strong team leadership skills and proven expertise in shaping engagement moments that deliver maximum impact to their audience. We’ll want you to have effectively worked in large complex organisations (we are a FTSE100 business after all), delivering across multiple projects and events.
You’ll need to be a polished communicator, experienced at speaking to an array of senior internal and external stakeholders. It would also be great if you have an innovative, creative approach and an ability to work in a collaborative environment.
