EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We are recruiting for a dedicated & passionate Trainer to support and deliver our Field Service Management (FSM) programme within Severn Trent. In the role you will be developing materials and Training our Operational frontline staff across Water Treatment, Wastewater Recycling and Bioresources to become fully trained and competent users of our new Salesforce mobile App.
You’ll be working closely with Group Transformation and Customer Operations to support and deliver the programme and other follow up training where required for refreshers or new functionality.
In the role you will be required to plan, design and deliver face to face training to our operational Teams across a range of sites within our region as week as supporting the preparation of courses including researching & creating teaching materials.
Please note that this role is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. The role comes with a car allowance as there is an expectation to travel to sites within the Severn Trent region. Candidates will need to hold a full UK driving licence.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
We’re looking for someone with experience in learning design & delivery, ideally with an understanding of operational environments. It’s crucial to have experience with supporting others in a team environment as well as providing remote support via a range of delivery methods, including the use of technology such as Microsoft Teams.
You’ll need to have a passion for delivering an exceptional learning experience, the ability to build effective relationships across a range of departments, and be positive & empathetic towards resolving learner queries.
It goes without saying that you’ll be an effective communicator, with excellent written & verbal skills, as well as the ability to influence teams and individuals. You should be a creative thinker with the ability to use initiative, work independently and manage your time effectively.
