Do you have a proven track record of staff management and leadership within a Warehouse/Supply Chain operation? Are you someone who can work under pressure to achieve targets whilst creating and maintaining stakeholder networks? 

 

 

If you’re looking for a new challenge, we have a new permanent opportunity to lead and inspire our Warehouse team as a Regional Warehouse Manager based in Shelton, Shrewsbury.

 

 

This role is key to making sure our front-line teams have the right materials they need to be able to do their jobs at the right cost, time and place.

 

 

You’ll manage a team of 9 Warehouse Operatives who administer, store and distribute the materials at our distribution centres, so strong leadership will be key to ensuring we have motivated, engaged and high performing teams.

 

 

Leading, motivating and inspiring your team to make sure you have a proactive and engaged workforce that is focused on high performance and whose skills continually develop to meet changing business needs is vital.

 

 

Managing our supply chain performance as well as optimising inventory levels and maintaining stock accuracy is of key importance while driving customer service excellence and achieving robust service level agreements.

 

 

You’ll be managing a budget including tracking performance and forecasting and play a part in setting the Warehousing and Supply Chain strategy including leading the delivery of local and strategic improvement projects.

 

 

Travel will be required in this role so the ability to drive and having your own car is essential. You’ll work Monday-Friday to support our teams to deliver to our customers.

 

 

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE 

 

 

We’re looking for candidates with experience in warehouse management who thrives to continuously improve the work environment, team engagement and performance.

 

 

You have a customer focus and can react to problems quickly in a fast-paced environment.

 

 

We’re looking for someone to fit into our Leadership team who can grow our Supply Chain team.

 

 

Experience of working in a pacey and complex Warehouse environment managing a range of outputs including cost, quality and customer would be ideal. Any working knowledge of SAP or supply chain systems would be desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
