We have an exciting opportunity for you to join HD as a Maintenance Senior Technician. Within this role you will be supporting the Team Manager in managing the day to day repair and maintenance of our water treatment sites in the Wrexham area. This position is crucial in assisting the team to meet tough local and function wide targets around quality, continuous supply, safety and cost control.
Within this role you will have the opportunity to embrace curiosity and learn new skills outside of your ‘day job’. We are encouraged to find new ways of working, supporting us and our colleagues in fixing things for customers before they go wrong. Some of the additional responsibilities within this role include assisting the team manager with budget monitoring and preparations, risk assessment and management of all on site or area activities, and escalating risks and issues correctly and ensuring consistent use and application of standardised practices and procedures for the management of H&S risk and quality problems, with full adherence to and promotion of the Company principles.
With this position, you will be required to be part of a 24/7 standby rota.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Experience in a supervisory or management position or exhibit relevant leadership behaviours would be a distinct advantage. We are seeking experience of H&S management including managing contractors and suppliers. Having a good maintenance and technical background is crucial for this position and experience in water treatment and supply is advantageous.
