EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our Water Treatment team have a great opportunity for you to join as our new Maintenance Technician.
The role will consist of reacting to failures and planned activities such as improvement projects and preventative maintenance works across the Water Treatment area of the business covering Finhahm, working on a wide range of installations situated mainly on Severn Trent's water treatment works.
There will also be a need to support the local maintenance teams on a standby rota, one week in every fourteen when required. You must have sound diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
The role holder will be based at home, however, you will be working in the areas above, so it's important that you're commutable to these. You will have access to a van for work duties only, including starting from home and heading straight to site working throughout the local geographical area. You will be provided with a laptop iphone and safety clothing appropriate to the job. The position offers an opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking team working on a variety of equipment and assets, where you will have the opportunity to embrace curiosity and develop new skills outside of your normal day to day activities.
Any additional technical training required will also be covered and great working hours too (Monday - Thursday 7.30am-3.30pm and Friday 7.30am-3pm).
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To be a success in this role, along with your experience we will be looking for you to have obtained a NVQ level 3 qualification in maintenance or engineering or equivalent. A full UK driving licence will be required for the role. The right skills and experience are important.
