EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We’re looking for a Streetworks Senior Compliance Technician to join our Workforce, Planning & Optimisation team here at Severn Trent.
In this role you will ultimately be responsible for reviewing, challenging, and undertaking root cause analysis on Traffic Management Act (TMA) costs incurred within several charge categories (including Fixed Penalty Notices and Permits).
You’ll liaise with internal teams and third-party contractors to chase information on costs incurred so that you can challenge within regulatory guidelines whilst ensuring payments are accounted for against the correct departments.
You’ll support meetings to highlight performance improvements and resolve disputes of Section 74 Charges and you’ll arrange and facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly conference calls with colleagues and contractors to go through TMA reports to prevent potential fines and agree liability where possible.
You'll be based in our modern Pride Park site where you’ll be able to park for free or get to with ease with loads of local travel options. You’ll work within alongside our 320 strong Workforce Planning & Optimisation Team who all love what they do.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
Are you an excellent communicator with reputable experience of interpreting information to highlight key points for improvement?
Do you enjoy learning and supporting internal colleagues to understand and drive any changes within Streetworks and Traffic Management?
To be successful in this role it would be preferable if you had knowledge of the Traffic Management Act, the regulations, and processes that you need to adhere to.
You’ll be liaising with internal and external stakeholders, so it is imperative that your communication and relationship building skills are superb.
This is also quite an analytical role, so if you enjoy driving process change and generally have a want to explore implementing best practises in your role and the wider team, do apply!
