Working with the Compliance Team to ensure that regulatory data is reported in an accurate and timely manner to the Regulators (DWI, NRW and EA) to maintain compliance with the drinking water and wastewater Regulations. This will include:
1. Provision of data to allow the satisfactory delivery of all water quality regulatory reports required by the DWI. (Event notification and reporting, compliance reporting, audit reporting, customer complaint reporting, undertaking progress reporting and additional information requests)
2. Provision of data to meet environmental Reporting Requirements
3. Acting as an expert user for the Compliance Database and performing system administration duties
4. Check data provided by other teams for sufficiency and accuracy before it is included in data returns.
5. Assist the Investigation into all water quality events and water/wastewater compliance failures to determine root cause, agree corrective actions and disseminate company-wide recommendations to prevent recurrence.
6. Collate information for event reporting, compliance reporting, DWI audit reporting, customer complaints referred from DWI and Regulatory Notice progress reporting
7. Liaise with colleagues in Operations to ensure sufficient data is provided for compliance failure investigations
8. Liaise with Water Risk Team to ensure accurate risk data is submitted to DWI in a timely fashion.
9. Check risk data against compliance data and events to ensure all risks are recorded in the submission to DWI.
10. Maintain and update database of information to and from the Regulator.
11. Track DWI recommendations following water quality events, audits and compliance assessments.
12. Provide support to the Compliance team to ensure all regulatory requirements are met in a timely manner.
