As a Process Operator you will be part of the Operating team that ensures the treatment of sewerage and waste water are to the required standards. You will be working across multiple sites and be responsible for maintaining equipment and working with the team to rectify any issues.
This is a great opportunity to build your knowledge and understanding of the water industry and develop your career with Welsh Water.
You will also be required to take part in our out of hour’s standby system

External
• NVQ Level 2 or higher, BTEC, ONC/HNC qualifications in wastewater treatment Process (Desirable).
• Experience gained in industry with use of SCADA systems, Instrumentation and/or Mechanical and Electrical equipment (Desirable).
• Experience gained in industry to ensure full compliance and adherence to all Health & safety standards (Desirable).
• Enthusiastic about putting our customers first every day.
• Awareness of regulatory bodies such as Environment Agency/NRW.
• Knowledge of discharge consent licences for all environmental discharges.
• Competent on Computer systems including Word, Excel etc.
• Team player, willing to take part in all necessary training requirements required for the role.
• Multi-site mobile working, no home working.
• Mon – Thurs 0800 – 1600, Fri – 0800 – 1530
• 260-hour PWT contract
• Company Vehicle Provided - UK driving licence required
