This is a full time, day position with some on-call requirements. On call one week night per week for drug testing and 1 out of 4 weekends.

Main Function:

• Provides alcohol and drug testing.
• Assists clinical and clerical staff to facilitate flow of patients and health information for customers’ medical records.
• Registration of HealthWorks patients and answering telephones for the department on a limited/as needed basis.
• Lives the CARES values at all times.

Job Specific Competencies:

• Exhibits Strong customer service skills, to include greeting patients working to service client companies demonstrating knowledge of occupational medicine program.
• Accurately verifies patient demographic and insurance information for registration.
• Demonstrates knowledge of Systoc to ensure quality data entry and scheduling.
• Demonstrates skill as Breath Alcohol Technician, DOT and non-DOT drug collection.
• Demonstrates commitment to success of the team and the department through participation and plays an active role in departmental goals for both Immediate Care and HealthWorks.

Qualifications:

• Certifications for breath alcohol testing, drug testing (urine, saliva, hair testing).
• BLS CPR certification.
• Competency for Phlebotomy.

Education:

• High School graduate or equivalent

Experience:

• Strong computer knowledge and skills
• Working knowledge of occupational medicine services
• One to three years previous medical registration
• Good communication skills and personal attributes, which enables good rapport with patients and their employers.

Complexity of Duties:

• Prioritizes patient and company needs utilizing knowledge of policies and procedures within the department.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Familiarize and retain knowledge of client companies to better serve our customers.
• Understanding of occupational medicine services and their value to our clients.

Pay Range: $16.50 - $21.00
