ROLE: Restaurant Manager – In Horto, London Bridge
SALARY: Competitive + Bonus Scheme
HOURS: Full Time, 40 hours per week contract
HOLIDAY: 25 days plus Bank Holidays annually, increasing to 28 days after 2 complete years. Plus, an extra day to enjoy celebrating your birthday!
REPORTS TO: General Manager
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the success of the site and will be held to the highest ethical standards. They are an entrepreneurial and collaborative forward thinker, communicator, and leader who is focused on driving sales, labour productivity, cost control and effective purchasing, while delivering best in class customer experience and continuing to learn and develop into their own role each day.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Protect and enhance the reputation of the restaurant as a best-in-class destination for food and drink and an enhanced customer experience via the managing and motivating of the floor and front of house team.
- Recruit, develop and lead the hourly front of house and host teams, setting objectives and identifying growth potential in order to ensure high levels of employee engagement and retention.
- Manage and execute all areas of service throughout the venue with a focus on customer satisfaction, excellent feedback and obtaining site review from guests.
- Own the guest booking system and ensure the management of reservations, seating plans and customer enquiries.
- Rota planning and scheduling, ensuring they are aligned in reflection to our wage budgets.
- Oversee the daily shifts and lead by example with a hands-on approach, including assigning opening and closing duties.
- Drive sales and control costs in order to deliver revenue and profitability targets
- Be responsible for compliance with all relevant internal and external policy and legislation, including Health & Safety, COSHH, Food Safety, Allergens and Premises Licensing.

Requirements
- A passion for consistently high standards and attention to detail, which comes from being a self-motivated, charismatic leader.
- Minimum 1-year relevant management experience (including holding a Personal Licence) gained either as Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager/Supervisor looking for the next step up.
- Excellent organisational and customer service skills with experience managing in venues larger than 90 guests and teams larger than 10 staff.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude and be an excellent team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to coach and mentor.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and be excited to work in a vibrant, busy environment.
- A genuine love of all things hospitality.
