ROLE: Server – Flat Iron Square, London Bridge

RATE: £12ph plus Service Charge

REPORTS TO: General Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Protect and enhance the reputation of the bar as a best-in-class destination for food and drink and an enhanced customer experience via the managing and motivating of the bar team.
• Providing a consistently high level of customer service
• Complying with and following licensing regulations, Company procedures and policies
• Working as part of a team to deliver excellent customer experience
• Attend and complete all training provided
• Maintain operational standards
• Ensure rooms are prepped and ready for continued service
• Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact; escort them to the area of choice; present menus/set times.
• Help patrons select food and beverages with recommendations and upselling
• Stay updated on food and beverage menus and stock levels
• Transmit orders to bar and food trader by recording patrons' choices on EPOS; identifying patrons' special dietary needs, allergens and special requests

Requirements

We are seeking an outgoing and passionate Server would love you to have:

• A passion for consistently high standards and attention to detail, which comes from being a self-motivated, charismatic leader.
• Must be able to work Evenings, Weekends and Late Nights
• Have a genuine passion for what you do
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent organisational and customer service skills with experience managing in venues larger than 150 guests and teams larger than 15 staff.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude and a team player with excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach and mentor.
• The ability to remain calm under pressure and be excited to work in a vibrant, busy environment.
• A genuine love of all things hospitality.
