We are searching for a passionate Kitchen Porter at Tap & Bottle, located inside the historic Grade II listed Devonshire House, Tap & Bottle creates a cosy, wine bar experience offering a diverse collection of more than 100 specialist wines, snacks and small plates.

ROLE: Kitchen Porter – Tap & Bottle at London Bridge 

RATE: £11.50ph plus Service Charge

REPORTS TO: General Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning and sanitizing food stations and fridges. 
• Preparing cheese boards, charcuterie and small plates for customers. 
• Receiving food deliveries and completing necessary temperature checks.
• Washing and polishing glassware and plates during and after service.
• Replenishing stock when needed before, during and after shift
• Complying and following licensing regulations and food safety procedures.
• Working as part of a team to deliver exceptional products and services.
• Undertake other duties commensurate with grade and role, eg helping to clear floor.
• Be at work on time and prepare everything ready for service.
  
  

Requirements

• Food safety and Hygiene level 3.
• Keen eye for detail.
• Excellent team player and a fun member of the team.
• Effective at working under pressure.
• Passion and knowledge for food.
• Experienced in food preparation. 
• Proactive
