What You’ll Do

Spotter seeks an operations and change management leader to help our team become more impactful and efficient in reaching our ambitious goals. The VP of Operations oversees (i) the program management of critical cross-functional projects, (ii) change management of processes and systems that reduce inefficiencies and helps teams drive outsized impact, and (iii) our Content Operations team. Your deep skills and passion in structuring projects and programs to meet outcomes, and your ability to manage teams through change are crucial to the success of Spotter.

Successful candidates are curious, have a customer centric outlook, business and technical exposure, proven presentation skills, ability to sift through information and develop systems that engender high performance and facilitate growth.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and implementation of Spotter’s operating system, including key operating mechanics and rituals
  • Drive the development and management of corporate Enterprise Risk Management and OKR programs
  • Effectively build and lead a team of high performing Program Managers 
  • Ensure consistent program management standards and guidelines are followed across the organization
  • Constantly evaluate workflows and identify opportunities to improve individual and team efficiencies
  • Collaborate on programs that engender a high-performance culture
  • Collaborate with the Strategy team on annual operating planning 
  • Manage the Content Operations team and develop a deep understanding of YouTube Community Guidelines & Policies and rights management best practices. 

Who You Are/Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years program management and execution experience
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Change management and organizational development expertise
  • Prior experience engaging directly with senior leadership and managing executive stakeholders
  • Previous experience as a successful people manager
  • Experience and confidence using project management software
  • Experience with a quickly scaling organization
  • Critical thinking to efficiently drive programs to positive outcomes in high-paced environments
  • Motivated by navigating complex, ambiguous problems and working autonomously
  • Agile/Scrum knowledge

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be performed in Culver City. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is: $100K-$500K salary per year. The range listed is just one component of Spotter’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual discretionary bonus and equity.
