Who we are looking for

This position is an onsite position within our Re:Build CDi facility in Avon, Ohio. The Quality Inspector has primary responsibility in the areas of prevention (i.e. quality planning) and appraisal as they relate to project execution. It is designed to assure that supplier and surveillance activities affecting product quality and customer satisfaction are effectively developed, controlled, monitored and reported.

What you will get to do

  • Carry out quality planning functions, assuring that product, and data will be in sync with applicable specifications and customer expectations
  • Manage timely review, collection and distribution of product (control plans) data, as required by code, standard, or specification (engineering datasets)
  • Evaluate, develop, and complete inspection reports and assist in the development of remedial action plans to insure conformance to specifications and standards
  • Interact with various personnel to investigate causes of non-conformances, minimize cost of quality, and strive for continuous improvement.
  • Develop and assist others in creating procedures and working instructions.
  • Contribute to overall cost reduction/avoidance through participation in the internal corrective and preventive action system

What you bring to the team

  • Must have 3-5 years of experience in quality within the aerospace Industry
  • Specialized training within the quality assurance discipline
  • High School diploma required
  • Some college experience in a related field preferred
  • Ability to make autonomous decisions when handling quality issues
  • Direct customer/client service experience
  • Training in AS9100 and/or ISO9001 Quality Management System
  • Competent user of Quality Measurement tooling including CSM and SPC variance control
  • Ability to read blueprints, manufacturing blueprints, and GDMT
