AbelsonTaylor is a marketing communications agency that specializes in brands that help people live healthier lives. We are seeking a Media Planner to join our team.
What You'll Do
Showcase an understanding of the client’s brands and disease states, and determine media strategies that provides a benefit to their audiences (HCP and DTC)
Play an integral role in the billing process and keeping track of assigned media budgets
Pull together the day-to-day campaign pacing, optimizations, etc.
Alongside the Marketing Intelligence team, pull data, analyze performance, and make recommendations to improve campaign performance
Lead internal media team status and attend brand status calls to inform media status
Assist in pulling data to help inform media strategy
Direct contact with clients, maintaining that relationship and guiding them toward success each step of the way
Develop competitive and monthly reporting
Ensure deadlines are met, and perform quality assurance for deliverable
Heavily involved in training/onboarding other team members when needed
Establish relationships amongst immediate team members, within media team, activation team, Integrated Strategy peer set, finance team, dev team
Regularly interface with external vendor partnerships
Participate in team events and L&D opportunities
Active participant on vendor calls and team status calls (asking questions, etc.)
What Makes You A Fit
1-3 years of media planning/buying experience
Pharma or healthcare experience preferred
Ability to multitask & complete tasks efficiently
Works well independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented
Curious and inquisitive
Showcases initiative
Capable of receiving feedback/constructive criticism
Possesses quantitative analysis skills
Must be a kind human with a great sense of humor
Ability to think outside the box and challenge the ‘status quo’ – always willing to offer unique solutions in order to get the job done
Demonstrate a desire for thought leadership through continuous research
