Technical Recruiter (Fixed Term Contract)

Description

We are looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our People Team for 6 to 9 months on a fixed-term contract basis.  You will be responsible for recruiting top talent for very technical roles, spanning engineering, pre-sales and support roles across the UK and EMEA (with occasional roles in the US and APAC).  Working alongside the existing Talent Acquisition lead, you will be partnering with hiring managers and other members of the People Team to provide full end-to-end recruitment delivery.  You will join a dynamic and fast-paced team that generates significant contributions to this innovative ever-evolving business.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, directly recruiting across the UK and EMEA, with some APAC and US-based roles.
  • Focus on sourcing and engaging talent through a variety of online and offline channels driving our ability to attract the best technical talent required to drive the business forward.
  • Partner with our People Team and business leaders to develop and execute recruitment strategies for allocated positions. 
  • Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers within the business and develop expert knowledge of each team’s culture to allow you to recognise a great fit in a candidate
  • Qualify candidates over the telephone and Zoom, building strong relationships and rapport and creating an outstanding candidate experience.
  • Efficiently schedule and manage the interview and offer process providing regular updates on progress to candidates and managers.
  • Ensure full compliance with eligibility to work requirements and reference checking.
  • Drive Talent Acquisition excellence and transparency by maintaining our applicant tracking system and reporting tools, providing regular reports as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with new sourcing methods and best practices within the talent acquisition world.
  • Be a Hazelcast ambassador on social media platforms (e.g. Linkedin and Glassdoor) by promoting our achievements, and creating content with Hazelcast work culture in mind.


WHAT YOU HAVE

  • Experience in delivering the full lifecycle recruitment service, ideally in-house
  • Experience of recruiting and direct sourcing of very technical talent, specifically within the software and/or Tech industry
  • Proven experience in direct talent acquisition through a variety of sourcing strategies such as job boards, referrals and social media, including LinkedIn
  • Experience of sourcing tools and market mapping, particularly using LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Experience hiring Architects, Developers, Data and Engineering professionals
  • Confidence and expertise in sourcing, interviewing and identifying best-fit candidates
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently, delivering against multiple timelines for different stakeholders
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to liaise with and advise all levels of stakeholders
  • High motivation to find top talent in an efficient way and deliver against hiring targets
  • People-centric approach with a genuine interest in delivering an exceptional candidate experience
  • BA/BS in Human Resources Management or relevant field or equivalent experience.
